    Panels Mounted in Trees?

Hi - I've been searching endlessly for a proven rack design to mount solar panels in trees. I have 8 x 180W canadian solar panels that need to be installed in pairs in two or four spruce or hemlock trees. In the winter the site will regularly be subject to 100km/hour winds from the southeast. The trees are in good health and at least 1.5m in diameter at the base. There are no other options at the site for getting clear access to the sun. Thanks in advance for any links or recommendations.

You could go with a side of pole mount Iron ridge makes them you may have to increase the size of the band clamps and expect brekage as the tree grows
Or drill the back of the pole part and lag bolt to the tree.
As far as approval goes there will be none. I assume this is not in the US as you gave metric sizes on the trees.
In the US there would be no such thing as wiring cannot be connected to a tree.

You likely must clear an area big enough to mount them. The mount with proper engineering could be elevated but a solid mount very high off the ground would really be cost prohibitive. If you have no other options you might not be a candidate for solar.

Thanks Sunking, the overburden of adds drove me away from the other one. I deleted it from my list. What I see here looks good so far.

Well I agree but it has been that way since last November when the new owner took control. He is a Spammer and mining out email addresses.
