I have a full Schneider system with an XW5548, 80A MPPT, Battery Monitor, ComBox, Gateway, AGS and SCP. I recently upgraded my batteries and generator, currently running 1130AH FLA Trojan 2V batteries and a 20Kw diesel genset.
Everything about the system functions as to be expected with one small and annoying problem.. Gen set is connected to AC2, breaker size set to and physically a 60A, charger settings (voltage, bulk abs, float ect all good). The issue is charging the batteries from the genset I've set it to 100% which should give me 110A in bulk. Max I can get it to charge at is 30A I know the gen is capable and shows a total output when charging and powering loads as high as 12kw so I know it isn't a generator issue.
I've spoken with tech support at Schneider and they had me roll the firmware on the gateway back to 1.14 (1.18 is current) I'm not sure what effect the gateway would have but hey I'm willing to give it a go. No change in charge rate after firmware changes.
Anyone have experience or insight on this?
