    Battery Insulation Needed

I am running a garage with the AGM battery sitting there on a couple of 4x4s. (The battery's temp is monitored by the cable that runs to the power controller). I keep the inverter off for most of the time.
The garage is hot in the summer and cold in the winter (Denver, Colorado). I was reading about insulation that wraps around the battery. Is that needed?

Not really needed for an AGM battery, unless you are trying to suck every bit of power out of it.
