Hello all. I currently live in a non functioning rv that I have set up for solar. It has 2 320 watt solar panels wired to a renogy 40a charge controller. It is then wired to 4 6volt 105ah batterys wired in series and parallel to make a 12 volt system. It is then wired to the rv and the dc outlets all work inside. I just build a cabin and am moving everything to the cabin but want to know what I meed to set up a dc plug. I dont need an inverter as I've lived with this system for 2 years and everything is already dc. I have no AC plugs or anything so i do not need an inverter. Thank you very much

Can anyone help? I'm sure it's super basic or something. Please I am hoping to move solar to canin but need to know what to get -
Not exactly sure what you want to plug in.
If you want heavy duty for battery leads then look at Anderson plugs.
For appliances there are a lot of different types.
For what ever you do fusing is critical.Comment

If you go to the Blue Sea website or search cable sizing chart and fuse sizing chart that will help determine the correct sizes.Comment

I have fuses... I dont think I am explaining correctly.what is there for an alternative to an inverter I want to stay dc not go ACComment

That schematic I posted is DC only, there is no inverter.
You will have panels to controller to battery then your DC can come off the battery as shown.

Should be wired to the battery with proper fusing at or as close to the battery as possible.2.2kw Suntech mono, Classic 200, NEW Trace SW4024Comment

Thank you. So nothing should be wired through the load of the charge controller? So panels to charge controller. Charge controler to batteries then plug thingy to batteries?Comment

As littleharbor said using the correct size fuse, it can come come straight form the battery.
The load terminal of the controller can be used for power supply but what can be powered from it depends on the brand and model of the controller.
Generally the load terminals of controllers are used as timers with adjustable settings on the controller. It is good practice to use relays activated by the controller rather than run a load direct from the controller.
For example. When wiring your USB plug thingy straight from the battery you have no low voltage cut out if the battery gets low. Depending on your controller it is possible you could use the load terminal and program in low voltage cut out.Comment
