I've just upgraded my inverter to an Aims 6000w Pure Sine split phase unit. Looking at the specs I noticed the idle consumption is listed at 76.8 watts. I'm looking for some input on the proper way to include the idle consumption in a daily load analysis. I have the 24v unit, running off a 430ah bank. This is in a weekend camp with calculated daily watt usage at 3100 watts, not including inverter idle consumption. Thanks.

76.8w x 24hr = 1843.2wh That's enough power to run a pre-energy star Fridge.
It's also 2/3 of your current load, which is now up to 4943.2wh.Powerfab top of pole PV mount (2) | Listeroid 6/1 w/st5 gen head | XW6048 inverter/chgr | Iota 48V/15A charger | Morningstar 60A MPPT | 48V, 800A NiFe Battery (in series)| 15, Evergreen 205w "12V" PV array on pole | Midnight ePanel | Grundfos 10 SO5-9 with 3 wire Franklin Electric motor (1/2hp 240V 1ph ) on a timer for 3 hr noontime run - Runs off PV ||

So just tack the idle number to the total? I wasn't sure if that idle number was as constant load, or if it changed/diminished when more load was demanded from the inverter. This unit has a power saver mode (29 watt idle draw), but it needs 50 watts of load to wake it up. In the evenings with only a couple LED lights on I assume the inverter would go into sleep mode, and I'd be in the dark.

That idle is always there, added to what ever you are consuming, PLUS when you consume 100w and you have 90% eff inverter, there is another 10W left warming the inverter, actually using 110w.Powerfab top of pole PV mount (2) | Listeroid 6/1 w/st5 gen head | XW6048 inverter/chgr | Iota 48V/15A charger | Morningstar 60A MPPT | 48V, 800A NiFe Battery (in series)| 15, Evergreen 205w "12V" PV array on pole | Midnight ePanel | Grundfos 10 SO5-9 with 3 wire Franklin Electric motor (1/2hp 240V 1ph ) on a timer for 3 hr noontime run - Runs off PV ||
