    Solar Panel Barbecue Set

Any ideas about the size of panel needed to motor an electrical barbecue set? I've patented this, would anyone like one?

You mean solar, to power the electric motor on a BBQ ? Generally, I expect those are only a 100-200W motor, but would need pure sine wave power to keep the heat down. Figure 90 minutes run time, @ 200 W, that's 300Wh, or 25ah @ 12V I'd guess at a 100-150W panel, 10A charge controller, 300W sine inverter, and a 50-90AH battery to put a kit together, just to turn the meat on the spit.

But for the heat source, eelctric is not the way to go. Way too expensive to heat a BBQ with electric.

I love it when someone says they have patented something. An international patent? A patent in what countries?

Is this something that is not obvious? If so it wouldn't be patentable anyway.
      1) A motor to drive a BBQ? done 50 years back
      2) A 12 volt motor - no big deal - still a motor drive
      3) A solar panel on the BBQ lid - not practical or even possible
      4) Power from a battery bank? sounds very much like nothing unique

Many companies file for patents just to have a plaque to put on the wall and impress heck out of people that don't know what they are worth.

      They are costly to obtain
      They are costly to maintain
They are very costly to enforce

Hey, there's a thought, eel electric power. Word developed here. Copyright claimed on
eeleectric, and it's typo eelctric .

So a big tank of water, and electric eels, and a kid to poke a stick in every now and then, to keep the flow of current to the BBQ motor and air stone for the tank.

No, I mean solar panelled BBQ to keep my tropical fish tank warm. The patent part was a bit of slap stick!
