Okay - as I'm not an electrical engineer (nor do I play one on TV...) - is there any reason that this type of breaker https://powerwerx.com/eaton-187f-wat...-surface-mount should not be used on a 12 volt off grid system as long as it's appropriately sized for amperage?
My thought is to use a relatively large weather proof panel box (empty), mount the appropriate sized bus-bars and mount 2 breakers in it. One breaker from the CC to the batteries and another breaker from the batteries to the inverter.
What am I missing?
