  • Breaker ??? for 12 volt off grid system

Okay - as I'm not an electrical engineer (nor do I play one on TV...) - is there any reason that this type of breaker should not be used on a 12 volt off grid system as long as it's appropriately sized for amperage?
My thought is to use a relatively large weather proof panel box (empty), mount the appropriate sized bus-bars and mount 2 breakers in it. One breaker from the CC to the batteries and another breaker from the batteries to the inverter.
    What am I missing?

That would work, and as long as it's got an "honest" rating for being able to function as a on-off switch, it should be ok

      Thanks Mike!
I've seen these used in RVs and boats... so, I assumed they would work but wasn't sure.
