When cold weather is over, is there any advantage using panels at 88v vs 44v, for an evil 12v agm bank ?
44v vs 88v effect on mppt.

Also an MPPT that can accept a higher DC voltage allows you to wire the panels in series instead of parallel which can eliminate the need for over current protection by having a max of 2 "strings". -
If the panels are far from the charge controller, you reduce losses by running at a higher voltage (and thus a lower current.)Comment

Given the choices and the fact you are using 12 volt battery, 44 volts is the right choice.MSEE, PEComment

4 x 100w, 22.5 voc,18.9vmp,5.29A Imp , .100/30 victron mppt. Using mc4 branch connection for cold weather to take to 44 ish. Just wondering for warm weather if use 88 ish is recommended for evil12v bank.Comment

44 volts is all you need to know. Wire your panels 2 x 2 and stick a fork in it. Your done.MSEE, PEComment

22.5V * 4 * 1.25 = 112.5V
To high for your 100V MPPT charge controller.
