What style of Tracker is this?

Looks good from Google Earth. It looks like five buildings, each with 204 panels. You do not have permission to view this gallery.

Fantastic. Although there must be another installation near by. As the photo I took has 4 buildings all similar, with a bunch of old farm buildings alongside. BTW when i was in google earth mode using maps. google dot ca, the array does not show up. see screen shot. You do not have permission to view this gallery.

I stand corrected. I found that house using Google Earth, Imagery date of 5/31/14.
It is on the East side of Rd 15 about 4.5 miles north of North Augusta and about 1.25 miles South of Wolford Centre.
I am still amazed that the array could withstand any type of high wind.Leave a comment:

I was on my way from home to pick up some ducks in portland ontario, I got lost and they appeared while I was driving near Merrickville, Ontario. Sorry, I can't remember where I was.Leave a comment:

I continue to look for that solar array in Canada without any success. The largest ground tracking array had 40 poly cell panels and I saw one in China with 36 x 72 cell panels. I still find it hard to believe that a racking system with over 200 panels could be supported on a tracking system with a home built around it.
If someone can provide the name or exact location of those pv arrays I could confirm them to be real. Otherwise IMO those pictures are photo shopped.Leave a comment:

That sky looks so cloudy, the light is dispersed, and the tracker can't even find the sun. With perfect sun, you can
argue a tracker vs more panels. The tracker does almost NOTHING for you under clouds. But extra panels added
instead will continue to increase generation here. Face extras east and west to stretch your day without a bigger
inverter. When the sun hides, the dispersed light will put all of them to work. And there are so many advantages
to having those panels conveniently fixed near the ground. Bruce RoeLeave a comment:

I wish I could remember where I was when I took these. It was last year around this time I was on a road trip near Portland Ontario. It is bugging the hell out of me.Leave a comment:

Then it should be easy for you to find the spot on google or bing maps and post the Lat/Long.
(With google you can right-click and do "What's here" and it'll show the Lat & Long.Leave a comment:

I am sorry but I find it very hard to believe that those are real arrays installed on homes or buildings. They are way too big and not practical to withstand any type of wind force.
Exactly where are they located and what is the name of that set of solar arrays?
