SunPower SPR-215-WHT-U Positive Ground

I bought 4 older SunPower SPR-215-WHT-U panels to use off grid and then found out they are positive ground. I just verified with SunPower that they are indeed positive ground. My CC is a Midnite Classic 150. I was going to connect 2 series then 2 parallel in one string to the CC then 24v to the battery bank.

Am I SOL?

If I go all 4 parallel would that be better for keeping down Polarisation?

Can I run these 4 panels (860 watt max) into a 24v ungrounded set up?

Should I sell them and get neg grounded panels?

Better to get different panels. The Midnite Classic supports positive ground according to this version of the manual (page 70), but you give up ground fault protection, and need to make sure your inverter will be OK with positive grounding too.

An MPPT CC has the possibility of using the DC to DC converter section to isolate the DC input from the DC output. That would allow you to use positive ground on your array but still have negative ground on your battery bank. That would eliminate any concern about finding an inverter that will be OK with positive ground.
Again a PSW inverter (NOT an MSW inverter) may well have the AC ground separate from the DC ground and chassis ground so even if you did have to go positive ground on your battery bank the inverter would be OK.
I would not expect an MSW to have that capability, just as I would not expect any PWM CC to have the same DC to DC isolation option as some MPPT CCs.
