Well, slowly, but surely. Bit by bit. First new culverts for the road. Then engineering for the bldg pad. Compaction. Water. Gravel. More gravel. A parade of cement trucks. Pre fab shop building. Labor Expenses. More gravel. More compaction. Pole for the solar array (red primer, 8" sch 80 pipe, 22', 10' underground in a 28" cement pad)
More concrete pads for the Battery shed (little one on left) and the Generator shed (little one on right, near Pole). (roofs of the 2 sheds nearly touch, creating a storage space.)
Water tank(s) 9,000 gal worth so far, and more to come. Fire hydrant.
It takes a while to get the place built up, and then we can drop the house in, but by golly, I've got to build all the infrastructure first.
Then the hard freezes we've had in northern Calif, froze up about 200' of 2" PVC that still had water in it. More new pipe now.
Eventually, a 400AH 48 battery bank, XW6048 inverter, MSTristarMPPT60, 15 Evergreen 200. will power the shop tools, water pumps, misc light, and beer fridge.
