As with all of these "breakthroughs", the long term question is whether the technique will scale out of the lab into affordable practical sizes. I will keep hoping....
Our technology for handling carbon nanotubes and graphene sheets is getting better, but is still not affordable for many purposes.
And the capacity loss of 20% over 800 cycles is the antithesis of what is attractive about Edison construction NiFe cells.
