So I am looking to buy these rechargeable li-on batteries:
    http://www.batteryspace.com/li-ionre...014wheach.aspx
I have a very small solar panel that has these stats:
    0.5V 15mA max output

Essentially i have no knowledge of how any of this works, so could I just connect this solar panel to the battery and let it charge? Or is something wrong with this set up?
    Thanks

You tell us. The batteries are 3.6 volts. The solar panel is .5 volts.

Kurite if you had 10 of those solar cells and you wired them in series you could recharge 1 of those button cells. 1 panel as Sunkind showed you cant charge the battery ,not even if you tried in bright sunshine until the next millennium..

You could use a Super Duper Mega Turbo Uber efficient boost converter, but fifteen milliamps? This would require days and days and days to charge ccompletely. Sadly, mine is NOT super or duper, etc.
