    No.

    1) 48V batteries don't work with 24V systems.
    2) Batteries like Tesla don't work at 48 volts. Generally they work at 400 volts. (Mercedes got out of that market.)
    3) Pylon Tech might work for a 48V system - not a 24V system.

Do those lithium ion battery systems come with an inverter?
    Some (like Tesla) do.
Do charge controllers exist which could deal with all channeling all my inputs into the lithium ion battery?
    Some (like Pika) do.

Am I better off just getting new lead acid batteries?
That's generally going to be the cheapest option.

The salt water battery company went bankrupt.

I think Li batteries are too expensive, and I'd suggest you replace with same as what you have. Let the Li market stabilize a bit more before spending big $$

Using several charge controllers on 1 battery bank is fine.

As to what will work with future Li battery systems, you may have to update the firmware in the controller, or tweak the internal set-points to the voltages you need

I have an existing system for off grid. 24 volt system
Flooded Lead Acid Battery's - 2000 watt victron inverter
4 sets of solar panels each with their own charge controller. One Mttp and the others are Mvm(the other sort)
The input is about 1600 watts.

Those new lithium ion battery systems look tempting.

I have so many charge controllers because I kept adding new ones as time went on.
    They work fine.

I read somewhere that salt batteries are very good.
