This was probably the most intelligent thread I've come across regarding SLI batteries (which we don't really WANT to use for solar or deep cycle) but I got a LOT of really good info about Odyssey, Deka, Concord, MK, lead-calcium, lead-antimony, Fluke meters, Deltran and more from the BMW motorcycle enthusiasts and their applications.

Let's put it this way - I paid a LOT of attention to the posts from the wise-man engineer / rider that uses an HP-972A for his voltmeter. I don't swallow *everything* I read on the internet, but I followed this thread through with great interest.
