  • Some amperage confusion about Equalizing Flooded

I have read various bits & pieces about how to EQ a flooded battery, but I still don't understand the whole current & amount of current during EQ.

I have read things about setting some current value on the charger for example like C/20 or much higher rates which I simply don't understand.

EQ is simply constant voltage mode, and it's recommended to EQ after the battery is fully charged up. In this case the battery dictates what current it takes. So what determines the actual amount of current you need to pump into the battery? So you just leave the CV power source connected & the battery will draw current based on it's SoH?

I have a basic power supply that can set voltage to any level.

    thanks
