To charge a 36v battery system you will need an input voltage to the CC above 44V. The CC will determine the correct amount of voltage needed to charge the battery but you have to have input to the CC at least 6 to 8 volts more then the battery voltage.
If your panels have a Vmp = 18.6V you will need to have at least a set of 3 wired in series or more depending on what the maximum input DC voltage your CC is rated forLast edited by SunEagle; 12-14-2018, 08:13 PM.Comment
