What they are is copy cats of OEM batteries, not something I would trust. For example Clark Forklifts come from the factory with GB batteries. BBI makes a copy cat version which is lower grade then the OEM GB batteriesMSEE, PEComment

No offense to your opinion, but I am looking for comments from actual owners of these...
BTW
Philip Morris USA uses BBI for all their lifts and stationary banks...how I came across this "new" battery...have never know PM to use "low grade" anything!Comment

Forklift batteries, because of their "stronger grid chemistery" are a little less efficent than RE deep cycle batteries, and will consume more water.
may not be any users here, with them, sorry.Powerfab top of pole PV mount (2) | Listeroid 6/1 w/st5 gen head | XW6048 inverter/chgr | Iota 48V/15A charger | Morningstar 60A MPPT | 48V, 800A NiFe Battery (in series)| 15, Evergreen 205w "12V" PV array on pole | Midnight ePanel | Grundfos 10 SO5-9 with 3 wire Franklin Electric motor (1/2hp 240V 1ph ) on a timer for 3 hr noontime run - Runs off PV ||

I have Battery Type: 06-SBY-85-13-1317B-from BBI Batteries
I think the company is very new to Solar for their batteries. These are sold by GB and GB makes the cases.
This is a post with 2 users of these batteries.

I am having problems with SG's not getting high enough. However the voltages and water use are all good. I would love to have someone from BBI, maybe the president, give me the charging requirements for 2-MX60's Charge Controllers and an SW5548 Xantrex Inverter.Comment
