What is the over and under on the chance that, if I bought 4 of them, they would be boat anchors within a year?

    50%? Less than 50%?

Anyone have any experience with them?

The price is too good to be true. (40$)

I doubt these batteries are new. If they are and If you do not cycle them they should be good for many years. since they are standby batteries, thay may only be good for 150 to 300 cycles. Not good for off grid application. My bet is they are used batteries retired from a UPS and are basic junk, he can only get $20 core refund, so he doubles his money selling for $40
