Questions on series AND parallel battery bank

How odd that I log in to ask a question and the last post is worded similarly.

So, Crown sent me some charging info the other day and I noticed this battery configuration (image). Never heard of it before so I'm asking if there is any drawback to a series AND parallel battery bank.

Currently have a 2nd system with 8 CR-305's. Two strings of four 6 volters. This series/parallel config seems to reduce 2 strings to 1?

No way to answer. What is the voltage & Ah of each battery ? (since you didn't say and I don't have a crown catalog here)

That diagram shows 4 strings of 2 in series. For that to equal a 24V 610Ah system each battery would need to be a 12V 152.5Ah.

Based on your 8 x 6V 305Ah batteries that diagram is not correct.

It does. Appreciate the input but that was a stupid post by yours truly. Even if I were to flip the batteries to make two 24v strings I'd still have TWO 24V STRINGS, exactly what I already have. Sorry, folks.
