  • 6 Surrette 4ks 21p questions pls help thanks

Hi Ive been living for grid for three years now and the previous owners had a system installed that im now kind of questioning its a 24 volt system 1360 watt array and 6 rolls 4ks 21p 1104ah at 20hour. Im about to replace them as they are over 15years old. Im curious if my array is sufficient for capacity. Im in northern ontario canada.
also any other battery options ? These have really stayed the course of time though
    thanks joseph

For a 24V 1104Ah battery system you should be using about 100amps of charging. A 1360watt array and most efficient MPPT will only get you about 56Amps for a 24V battery.

IMO you would need to double the array wattage as well as use a second MPPT CC to charge a similar 1100Ah battery bank.

SunEagle is right. You need to up your array capacity.
I'd double it and get another charge controller, especially if you buy new batteries. You'll want to make the batteries last as long as possible given their high cost
