  • Why no Storedge Interface for SE HD inverters yet in US?

Storedge interfaces are available to connect DC-DC batteries to SE HD inverters in Australia, Asian Pacific countries and perhaps some other foreign countries. However, they are not available for SE HD inverters sold in USA. Does anyone know why it is taking so long? Solar storage batteries are becoming very popular in many parts of the US and one would think that SE would sell a lot of Storedge interfaces for all of the HD inverters that they have sold in the US. Any guess when they will be available? When I call SE sales or support they are no help getting and ETA. I have 2 HD inverters and don't want to scrap them or buy a hybrid inverter in order to connect a battery.
    Thanks

I too have an HD wave inverter and got excited when I read that there was a Store Edge interface. I was quickly disappointed to find out it was not ready for primetime in North America.

It occurred to me as I thought about this, the difficulty may be Underwriters Lab compliance.
