Which Side to Install Battery Bank Disconnect Switch + or -?

So I did some googling on this and expected and easy answer...wrong. I read several things that said it doesn't matter which side you install the switch. Others said you should do the positive/hot side. This sounds correct to me but I'm posting here to be...wait for it...positive!

    Thanks!

The answer is not positive or negative.
    You switch the un-grounded conductor.

I have my switch in the middle of the battery bank, near the door, so I can break the circuit easily without getting into the middle of smoke
