  • Connecting battery charger with generator.

    i have a 48V battery bank, consisting of two strings connected in parallel. I use a generator to recharge the battery bank via a battery charger when the sun doesn't shine. Does it make a difference about where I connect the charger leads?

    What would work best, or is there no difference, if I connect the + & - leads to one string only, or should I connect, say, the + to one string and the - to the other?

    I'd connect right where all the other cables connect, which should be on the diagonal corners of the 2 banks:
