If it is default setting, I don't think is too high, I suggest you leave those settings alone unless you have good reason to change them, I have my controller absorb volt set at 61 volts as we have cloud past by all the times.

Great, thanks for that input, Paul. Sets my mind at rest, as elsewhere in the controller's user manual, it says that Bulk Charge "will use 100% of available solar power to recharge the battery" and I was not clear whether the setting for Charging Limit or the setting for Absorb controlled that 100%. I now know it is the Absorb setting! (which in just to confuse everyone is called "Boost" on this controller).Comment
