So me and my girlfriend spend a lot of time outdoors, camping, hiking, backpacking, ect... And we use CR123 batteries for most of our flashlights and the camera we have. the issue is buying new batteries once a month sucks. so I picked up some rechargeable ones that are AMAZING! but we have been looking for a way to charge them while out and about. I looked all over amazon, youtube, google, and such. I am not a expert by any means when it comes to electric engineering. so with a standard CR123 charger like a wall charger or one that hooks up through a USB what would be a decent solar panel to look for that we could carry or maybe strap to a backpack?
we looked at something like http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00E3OL5U8/...=IGE7JJ407D4GZ but no idea if that's strong enough. but I like the idea that it folds up or I could mount it to a backpack while walking, sitting, setting up camp, ect... my budget that I would like to stay under would be $200 max. would also be great if it could charge a smart phone.
Also I am not expecting it to 100% charge in 30 min. but if it took 3-4 hours of sunlight to get a charge on 2 CR123 batteries, or 4 hours = 40% of a cell phone that would work for me. Thanks for the guidance. and links are always nice so I know which exact thing your talking about.
