I hope this question fits in here. You people are really knowledgeable about Solar - have not seen any BS here yet. Are LiFePO4 battery chargers rated according to input to the charger or output to the batteries? I will need a charger that will plug into 110v, connect to 48v pv panels and also connect to a 24v 100amp alternator mounted on my truck's engine. I eventually will have 8 x 12v 100 amp LiFePO4 batteries in my pack. How do I go about choosing a battery charger for this variety of power inputs? Also, I see that batteries have built in BMS. Does the charger also have a bms?
