So purchased an inverter charger from a local distributor to charge my 24v 470ah battery bank. (8 @ 6v 235ah)
They advertised it to me as a 40amp charger, but turns out it is only 30.
Would this give me enough amperage to charge the batteries?
The guy is telling me the only difference is the time it takes to charge?
Eventually I plan to put solar on my bus to charge the bank.
When i looked into that before, I believe it was recommended that i get a 24v 50amp mppt charge controller to get the charge rate i needed.
Should it be the same charger from shore/generator?
Thanks!
