I've been patiently waiting for an affordable lithium set up for my westfalia camper and was hoping for some input. Please look at the links below. I'm just wondering if this will work: Its a Li battery that has a sixty amp discharge rate and a maximum of thirty amp charge rate. So imho it will work? Since it does not have posts like a drop in lead acid battery, I was thinking I could use a positive and negative buss bar wired into a lead that plugs into the battery. This would make taking the battery out during times when not in use. To my understanding one of the tricky things with Li is that it has to be charged properly to meet the battery management systems BMS requirements. So I found this solar charge controller, please see link below. I'm hoping that I can tie my car alternator charge into the controller through the PV input? If not its okay since the system should be satisfactory as is w/o vehicle charging.
