    Free diodes, relays, microswitchs.

Recycling: Old microwaves contain micro switches, high current relays, Easily rewound transformers...for you guys into tracking arrays.
In our part of the country there are free sattelite antennas...the larger ones have easily modified mounts and a high priced acuator...lots of internet sites as to how to...
All old computer power supplies have high current diodes.
I dug up a 3" pipe from a friend's garden plot....10 footer with darn near a yd of concrete on it..pulled it up on my trailer with a come-along and brought it home and dropped it in to a predug hole. I have a 7ft dish on it that I used for tracking AO-40, an
    Amateur radio sattelite.
A quick hint for trackers, an easier way to rotate an array is simple hinges if 360 is'nt needed. I've used gate hinges (chain link fence) on my rohn tower..240 degree coverage. E/W you only need 180, right?nuff for now.
Working...
