Resistance between positive and negative sides of solar cell

Yesterday I bought a solar DIY kit from ebay, and I want to know the resistance between positive and the negative side of solar cells. Beacause when I check cells (Black probe to the blue side of the cell and Red probe to the back side of the cell and switching the multimeter to the short circuit detection mode) it detects as the cell is short circuited and the buzzer rings. But I think there must be some resistance between two sides of the cell. Can anybody please help me

The only thing you can check in the short circuit mode (Which you have done ) is the amps short circuit. Switch the meter to amps and retest and you should come close (iff in full sun) to the short circuit current of the cell. resistance is meaningless.
