Solar Cell Configuration Idea

That makes no sense. That center cell will not have same polarity at diagonal corners, and it will tend to short out the bottom cells. Bruce Roe

Oh Ya I will explain Bruce.
When I start thinking about solar cells.

Is it possible for one cell to traverse both directions?
It is still Series. But one cell is different from the rest.

I know it seems like a waste of estate. But Im just curious what other configuration of cells is possible.

So I been thinking a lot lately about this idea.
Do you think it might work if I do a Test to construct them like this?

From your sketch, I can;t tell which cells are wired how, . are all in parallel ? series? The odd one in the middle wastes a lot of real estate.
