    Out of Monocrystalline or Polycrystalline solar panels, which solar panel is beneficial for home usage.?

    Both types work well. It comes down to what you want to pay for your system.

      Monocrystaline generally is more efficient and the common size 1000mm x 1670mm panel will produce up into the 310watt range whereas typical poly panels will be in the 270watt range for the same size. Maybe 15% more efficient - but also maybe 30% more expensive. Same quality, same durabiliity. Sometimes the appearance looks better because they are all black, sometimes they look worse because the cells corners are clipped showing big white spots where the backsheet shows through.

        It all comes down to dollars per watt, unless you have space limitations on your roof go with the lowest cost per watt from a brand that you ill think will be in business long enough to honor a warrantee (good luck on that).
