    Watts needed to charge

    Hello,

I have been reading but not able to get the answer to the following question.

I have a 12v 135 AH battery which I intent to charge in 6-7 hours.
how many watts i need to to charge the same and how should I align the cells(Series or parallel) if i buy standard industry cells of .5V.

    I already have a charge controller with me,its 20 Amp 12/24V controller.

I am from India so sunny days are not an issue here

    Thanks
    Saurabh

No less than C/12 and no more more than C/8 charge current.

Sunny days no problem? In Gujarat it has been pouring rain the past 4 days - zero sun!

Figure on needing to replace 120% of the power you take out of the battery. If you normaly use 300 watts of power from the battery, you need to supply from your solar harvest (generally only a 5 hour window of sun) 360 watts back into the battery
