    what do i use to clean my solar cells before i enclose them

    I just finished soldering my first 36 cell panel. they have gotten alittle dusty. before i seal my panel with plexi, i would like to clean off each cell. what should i use. just water? dishsoap & water? any ideas? thanks everyone

    window cleaner might be OK, but you might be better off just using compressed air or a can of air like they use to clean computers. Get rough with them, and you'll just start breaking cells.

      Treat them like jewels. Use a soft camera lens brush & canned air. Don't let air blast get under a cell and flip/crack it. fingerprints or goo, use a cotton swab with alcohol and let air dry. No windex, no lens cleaner spray, no soap
