I am curious how close you can safely locate solar cells on your panels, specifically 3"x6" and not risk any potential damage? I will be building at room temperature (about 75, no I don't have control of the temp
)
The reason I need them as close as is reasonable is because the area I need for my target voltage is very near the nominal area taken by the cells so that may be a large holdup if I can't locate cells close enough.
The plant I work at tosses a lot of "expired" sealed clear RTV flowable sealant (as per gov req.), I will have to get the exact spec but I am thinking it may be usable, if nothing else for the edges and back of the cells. And it is clear but not sure if its clear enough.
Thanx
Ryan
