i have panels in my homes for 7 and 5 yrs- my installer told me a few weeks ago that pseg (long island) now allows u to keep your excess in the bank, not empty it once a year on your anniversary date where they pay u 2cents a kwh (i think they charge u 22c) - when i called them they told me this policy is only for installs from 2019 and later, so i am out of luck...BUT... i heard that some people with older installs like me after complaining and speaking to a supervisor , have gotten them to agree to keep any excesses in the bank -
