I'm impressed with the precise machining of those rotor holes.

At least the assembly seems to be pretty well balanced.
Same for the holes in the stator. Other than reducing the weight, I do not see any function for them. But they look impressive.

You are looking in the wrong place. Lower right portion of the screen they slipped a few times and you could see the cord from the light board into the house.

I didn't see any wires in the lower right connected to the apparatus - and he picks up and places the light board at the beginning and I didn't see extra wires then.
At what time stamp are you seeing them?

My guess is that it's fed from the wires to the fan he plugs in at the beginning.
I don't think the fan ever goes off once he turns it on.
It'd be easy to hide wires in that dirt leading off camera.

An exterior magnetic field is certainly a possibility too - but I think that'd be harder to make work with moving the "generator" around like he did.

I am impressed by the way he puts the machine on a cart to show that there are no other wires attached to it, but the three cords leaving under the carpet from the edge of the control board are just a mite suspect.

Similar "generators" I have seen have used motors to "start" the spin but then some type of magnetic field is used to keep it going. Of course the magnetic field is "powered" from an external source which proved the whole system as a hoax.
