Try out Firstlook for worldwide solar data, there isn't a better site that I know of. You need to register but it's free and it's a real good site....Hope this helps some of you.Leave a comment:

insolation
Hi, I believe that if you search (bing) for insolation europe you should find the information you are looking for.Leave a comment:

You are talking about solar irradiation levels. The amount of sun that Spain gets is more than Holland. That doesn't drive what kind of panels you will get. It will drive HOW MANY you get.
A panel pointed directly at the sun will generate the same wattage in Holland as one pointed directly at the sun Spain. But seasonal weather patterns and to some degree sun angle will drive how much wattage that panel generates over a year.
You would need to determine how many kw-hrs you want to generate in a given year and then based on your location design a solar power system. But you wouldn't buy panel x for Spain and panel y for Holland. Does this help?Leave a comment:

Hi Chris,
This is about 80% what I need... but it's most interesting when it's related with the 'sun strength (sun hours, etc, etc)' of the latitude where the panels are located...
To be more specific... a solar panel in Holland generates less energy then located in Spain....
But again Chris... your suggestion helps A LOT.

I have worked with these guys before, they have a nice solar panel center that you can use. Not sure what you mean by 'sun strength', but they list by watt, brand, and type:

PS: and it would be even better is the website is configured with the option of sun-strength (is that english?) ni a certain geographical area
