I'm going to be purchasing an Outback Radian 8048 inverter and had a question about its capabilities.
As I understand it, inside the Radian cabinet is a microcontroller and two separate inverter modules.. one for each phase that work together...
If one of the phase inverters were to malfunction, can the system continue to limp along using just the other phase? Or will one side disable the entire unit? I'm wondering if its possible to get the unit to limp along on just the good phase... even if it requires modification.
Thanks,
