Solar works for a few hours then shows 0w power?

If the battery system is bad it may think it gets charged to 12V and then can shut down the solar charger. Then under load the battery system dies quickly.

Was the battery fully charged?

There need to be some loads for the panel to produce. When there is no load (including battery fully charged), the inverter shuts the production off as it has nowhere to go.

If there were loads, then it is possible something went wrong in the MPPT or inverter or in the connections.

Hi Guys,

I'd be extremely grateful if you can help me. I have a 180W solar panel with a Victron Energy Smart Solar MPPT 75V/15A charge controller. It's worked well for ages and nothing I'm aware of has changed. It's mounted to the roof of our campervan.

We went to a festival this weekend to come back to no power at all. In the morning I heard the fridge come on as the sun came up. I could see via Bluetooth that the solar was pulling 45w and bulk charging the battery. Then suddenly 0w. Screenshot attached.

I can't understand why the solar power goes to 0w. What's the most likely cause? A duff leisure battery?
