I just got into solar power and have read a good amount on it but what is keeping me from having a go at it is encapsulating the cells. Mainly because I will be living on an island in the Caribbean and will have access to boat resin vs solar epoxy. I would get a panel from factory but it would cost just as much for shipping as the panel costs. A friend of mine says to use boat resin since it will be readily available only thing I will have to buy and have shipped is the cells.
