    Yes, I'm aware of the Pure Sine Wave Inverter being better for sensitive electronics than the Modified Sine Wave ones

      If were me, I will have 3 choices.

      Choice 1,

      I will buy 3 250 watts panels ~$750
      2 Trojan L16RE-B FLA batteries wired in 12 volts. $800
      1 Xantrex Prowatts 1000 pure shine 1000watts 12 volt to 120 volt inverter, $280
      1 1000 watts quiet gas generator. $600 to $1000
      1 30 to 40 amps automobile 12 volt battery charger. $150C
      1 Midnite Classic 150 charge controller. $650 and necessary hardware and wires to fix them up.

      Choice 2,

      4 250watts panels ~1000
      4 Trojan L16RE-B FLA batteries wire 24 volts $1600
      1 1000 to 1500watts continuous 2000/3000 surge pure shine save 24 volt to 120 volt inverter. ~500
      1 1000 watts generator $600 to $1000.
      1 30 to 40 amps automobile 24 volt charger $150 to $200
      1 Midnite Classic 150 charge controller. $650 and the wire and hardware for
      installation.

      Choice 3,

      4 250watts panels ~$1000,
      2 Trojan IND176V FLA 920 amps batteries ~$3000,
      1 1000 continuous 2000watts surge pure shine save 12 volt to 120 volt inverter. ~$300
      1 1000 watts generator $600 to $1000.
      1 60 to 80 amps automobile 12 volt charger $150 to $200
      1 Midnite Classic 150 charge controller. $650 and the wire and hardware for installation.

      choice 3 will give me at least 7 years on battery with out problem.
