I recalled earlier this year, summer peak EV-TOU2 was 53 cents per kwh between 12-6PM for grandfathered plans.
Last year, SDGE switched the money maker month May to be a "winter". Now they changed the peak rate from 53 cents down to 39 cents? They also raised the off-peak rate to be nearly identical 39 cents. Essentially energy cost is the same all day.
SDGE is quickly eroding the value of the grandfathered TOU plan.
