  • micro inverter grid tie in

I was looking into putting a small system of a few panels and a wind turbine. I was thinking a 1200 watt inverter to plug into a wall socket.
I dont really know much about electricity but I read somewhere you could only put 1500 watts to one socket? I havent bought anything yet just seeing
whats out there and the limits are for this kind of system.
    Thanks,

If you live in the USA those wall socket plug in inverters are illegal and most times dangerous due to poor quality.

Before you try to save money using solar you really need to know the laws and rules put out by your POCO and AHJ. Trying to save a few pennies a year using that type of equipment may end up costing you much more.
