I have a combined DC 100V-50A Volt-amp-power meter which works just fine.
I am trying to come to grips with how to fit a shunt.
My ammeter has only 4 connections. Pin (1)Input Neg. Pin(2)Vext. Pin(3)Output Pos. and Pin(4)Output Neg.
Without the shunt (1) to Vin Neg. Pin. (2) Unused (3) shared with Vin Pos and Pos to Load. Pin (4) return from load (Neutral?).
Am I correct in assuming that the Shunt must go in "return from load" wire (Neutral)?.
If this is correct how doe's ammeter connect to the shunt?.
Can anyone help with a Novice type answer??
Thanks
