Is there a sweet spot for Solaredge inverters

What I mean is you can have 8 to 25 panels in a string, working voltage goes 350 to 500 . I'm sure it runs better with some certian amount of panels , 8 panels will give you 240 volts so the optimizers have to buck it up, 25 panels would give you 750 volts then they have to bring the voltage down. So is there a string size better than the other or does it not matter. 2 strings of 12 or 1 string of 24 would one work better than the other set up.
