  • Salvage Panel Glass

Does anyone know of a solvent that would dissolve cured EVA, so I can reuse the glass for a new panel. Acetone works....but is extremely slow.

Thanks for any help you can give!

Try adding a lit match to the mix. That should speed things up a bit. Sorry, just kidding. I couldn't help it. You might try MEK or Denatured alcohol. And be careful with any solvents use outdoors and keep away from sparks or open flame.

You also might want to wear a mask or something to protect your lungs.

You could just buy my blank tempered glass, already framed in aluminum and with terminations and spacers in place. I have maybe

Is all this to save money or for experiment/educational/hobby purposes ? If to save money, it's most likely an exercise in futility.
