  • Solar cell educational graphics - review for possible errors

Hi, Jake here. I've created some educational graphics about how solar cells work. I've tried to cover high level subjects down into some of the deep atomic-level subjects. I was wondering if there are any fellow enthusiasts or even scientists/engineers here who can take a quick look over my work to spot errors? I'm dedicated to making sure things are accurate, so as not to be spreading bad info online!

Here's the project, but please don't share outside this forum: http://animagraffs.com/preview/solar-cell/

That made me go look at http://web.archive.org/web/201002020...nimations.html and I swear I could hear the super 8 projector clicking in the background as I watched it

I don't know enough to confirm accuracy, but those are really good graphics! I enjoyed looking at those very much.

Looks OK to me. I've tried to get into the physics of solar cells but what you have nicely represented here is about as far as I understand it. Most all customers are generally satisfied with my explanation that it is "magic".... I might suggest adding an explanation of electron migration and electron recombination which are important to the resultant efficiency of the cell and why productivity goes down as temperatures rise. Nice graphics, I want...
