I wasn't advocating adjustable racking, either, nor any mechanical complication that wasn't already being designed in. For utility-scale solar, I'm just suggesting that ash should be taken into account when designing solar farms in areas that science shows have enough ashfall to worry about often enough to worry about.

Kind of read that were implying such. Sort of like seismic or wind design retrofits for structures ?

Isn't that what this board is for -- to get help and advice? It was great having people point out issues.

The panels are mounted sturdily now, I have no complaints.

The weather has been too variable to do any covered/uncovered experiments, maybe once the june gloom makes its final exit.
